After breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Thimphu through winding mountain roads, waterfalls, and beautiful river valleys.
Upon arrival, visit the peaceful National Memorial Chorten and the giant Buddha Dordenma Statue overlooking the valley. In the evening, explore local cafes, handicraft shops, and markets in the capital city.

Today, continue exploring Thimphu’s cultural attractions. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in the city, and explore Bhutan’s traditional arts at the National Institute for Zorig Chusum.
Later, visit the impressive Tashichho Dzong and enjoy free time at the local market area to experience Bhutanese daily life and culture.

Drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass, famous for its 108 memorial chortens and breathtaking Himalayan views.
In Punakha, visit the sacred Chimi Lhakhang Temple and explore the magnificent Punakha Dzong located at the confluence of two rivers. Later, enjoy a peaceful walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge.

After breakfast, continue your journey to the serene Phobjikha Valley, known for its untouched beauty, pine forests, and peaceful mountain landscapes.
Enjoy a relaxing walk along the Gangtey Nature Trail and visit the historic Gangtey Monastery overlooking the valley. During winter, the valley also becomes home to the rare black-necked cranes.
